If elected to the NEC as a CLP representative, I will focus my energies on delivering Keir Starmer’s policy of economic justice, delivering a society where people have sufficient access to welfare to allow them to live their lives with dignity and purpose. As a young person I am concerned about the state of the environment that my generation will inherit and passionate about preserving the planet for a sustainable future.
I want to focus the Labour Party’s efforts to ensure we win the next General Election. I believe we can achieve so much more by being in power.
I am proud to have completed a Master of Economics that has trained me to analyse advanced economic policies and their impact on the environment and natural resources. As a Black British woman, I understand the issues confronting BAME people today and will work to represent their interests on the NEC. I grew up in foster care and became one of only 6% of care leavers to gain a place at a university.
My communication skills will be of great value to the role as I will be actively interfacing with all parts of the Labour Party and both informing them about the decisions made at the NEC as well as communicating their ideas to the NEC. We need a strong, engaged membership base.
I am a hardworking, organised and dedicated individual, open to ideas and discussions with people from all parts of the Labour Party. I would really appreciate your nomination.
