What is the Reigate Labour Party?
We are an active, campaigning organization of people from all walks of life, age ranges and backgrounds. We have a strong history of campaigning and working in the area, contesting all local and national elections, alongside scrutinising the council to make sure the interests of ordinary people are represented.
What do we believe?
Labour believes that by the strength of our common endeavour, we achieve more than we achieve alone. Through this philosophy we can create for each of us the means to realise our true potential and for all of us a community in which power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many, not the few, so that we can empower society for the benefit of us all and live together, freely, in a spirit of solidarity, tolerance and respect.

We must turn the page decisively on the Conservative ideas that have caused the chaos.
The world has become increasingly volatile, with a major war in Europe for the first time in a generation and ever greater threats to the living standards of working people. This ‘age of insecurity’ requires the government to step up, not stand aside.
Returning to good government: national security, secure borders, and economic stability. It needs more focus on long-term strategy, not the short-term distractions, and it demands a final and total rejection of the toxic idea that economic growth is gifted from the few to the many – so much of what Britain has been through in the past 14 years is explained by a Conservative failure to face the future.
